AKHA POSTPONES RESUMPTION AS MASSIVE RENOVATION CONTINUES

Ongoing renovation within the premises of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly has made the members of the House to push forward their resumption from recess.

Meanwhile, committee works are ongoing in the House. Press Secretary to the Speaker, Mr Kufre Okon, confirmed on Friday that although the House has been on recess, lawmakers have been busy with committee works.

A visit to the premises of the state House of Assembly indicate that massive renovation works are ongoing within and outside the Chambers of the House.
