AN OPEN LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF AGRICULTURAL STUDENTS AKWA IBOM STATE UNIVERSITY, COMRADE AARON EMEDIONG MONDAY.

Mr. President, Sincere felicitations from the concern students of National Association of Agricultural students. Akwa Ibom State University, We write to bring your mind back by this words from a seasonal philosopher "Salus populi suprema lex esto" The welfare of the people shall be the supreme law Cicero 's De Legibus. You were sworn in as the first elected president of National Association of Agricultural students Akwa Ibom State University April 11, 2016 during your electioneering, you promise to integrate the Association, abide by the Constitution in all your dealings, today all your promises has turned out to flames soon after to mount office as president.

Firstly, shortly after swearing in you pronounced the appointment of Mr Keresifon Ishmael Ukpong of the Department Of Agricultural Economics and Extension as the clerk of the NAAS parliament this was when we knew you have nothing to offer to the students rather that you're are a are going to be total failure and disgrace to the NAASTIES because there is saying that goes thus; birds of the same feather flocks together, Keresifon Ukpong as known by all the students is an empty vessel who have nothing to offer students like you. Keresifon Ukpong who cannot write an official letter nor issue any official statement before an official gathering. Same was appointed a clerk to an Honorable Chamber as the NAAS parliament shame of the highest order to the so called NAAS president who appointed a failure like him...



Secondly, you went to Diamond Bank and get document to open an official account for the Association but till date nothing is been done in respect to that, what you could do was to give the same form to two people to filled, I wonder what the Association will do with two Accounts, Uduak James, the financial Secretary filled one form. Idara Ituen filled the second all in the name of opening account for the Association. As busy as you always claim to be you wrote to the Faculty officer requesting for Eleven Thousand Naira (N11,000 ) to open an account for the Association, Mr President where is the Account number and the money?

Lastly, Mr President you claimed that during your inauguration that you borrowed money for your inauguration, that the due should be released for you to paid the debt. Mr President, If I may ask is it the students' dues that you want use and settle your inauguration debt? Or are you too poor to handle your inauguration debt? Mr President please what have you done for National Association of Agricultural students Akwa Ibom State University since you took oak of office on the 11th April 2016, what is the current state of the association? Were is the hope of the Students that voted you? You have spent one semester as the president of NAAS what is the new thing in the Association? what can you boldly tell the students that voted you into the power that this is what you have done with respect to their welfare. What you can do is to create faction among the students of National Association of Agricultural students because of your selfish, nonsense and stupid interest. We the concern students of National Association of Agricultural students Akwa Ibom State University are totally disappointed in your administration, you are a total shame and disgrace to us and as such humbly demand you resign.
