UDOM HAS FAILED US -OBIO ETOI YOUTH LAMENTS

Inhabitants of Obio Etoi community in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State are expressing disgust over the poor road network in their domain.
The Ibom International Stadium, Redemption Academy, popular pentecostal churches and hotels are situated in the community.
Checks also reveal that several government officials own properties in the community.

Mr. Innocent Udoh, a native of the area, who spoke with this reporter said the community is only hoping on philanthropists or agencies such as Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to come to their rescue as the previous and present state government is insensitive to their plight.
His words: "Sir, if we want to rely on the State Government, we will do so till thy kingdom comes. The government appears insensitive to our plight.
"We have written on several occasions to the Ministry of Works and Rural Development complaining the dilapidated nature of our roads and poor electricity supply but to no avail.
"Reporters of Nigerian Television Authority have on several occasions cover this scene yet the government has not listened.
"We are only hoping on God to use highly placed individuals or development commission such as NDDC to serve us from this fatal trap." Udoh cried out.
